Roxbourogh State Park is similar to Red Rocks, or Garden of the Gods, but does not have all the friends. In the summer on weekends the park can get busy, but with limited parking it limits the amount… Full review by 53cassiem

With the exception of the 10 dollar charge to get in. This park is amazing to walk, hike, do water activities, etc. You can walk for miles and miles. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Full review by M-P-E-06

A friend told us we should visit this spot while we were in Denver for work. Lots of hiking trails. Not a lot of people. The views were amazing. I highly recommend it! Full review by Tony B

There is not a tram ride around the park. For older visitors, you might try the Fountain Valley Trail - that is considered one of the easiest, but please keep in mind this is a real hiking trail - not a paved walk. For example, this trail would be too strenuous for my 78 year-old dad who can only walk very short distances and needs to be on flat paved surfaces.
Q:
Is there a any charges - such as parking or entrance fees?
A:
See above. They sometimes have to limit the number of visitors, especially on a weekend, so you might have to wait a wee bit to get in.
Q:
I thought the park was permanentlying closed, is that not true?
A:
I think there is a park nearby that is closed but Roxborough was alive and well when we visited in September. Mike
